The Blogs Get a New WordPress Template
Hi everyone. Those of you who read my blog regularly will have noticed a change in style. This post is just a quick notice, and a place to leave comments and suggestions.
We’ve just completed the process of moving all three of my blogs over to a new hosting provider, new template, with improved security on all three. This site uses WordPress, and given the popularity of WordPress, WordPress sites get plenty of attention from attackers trying to find a way in.
(What three blogs? They are:)
If you find any broken formatting or links as part of the migration, feel free to leave me the page where the broken item exists (not the broken item itself), so I can then find the page that needs fixing.
As for the change in template, I think you’ll like the cleaner design, particularly those of you who use the blogs from tablets and phones. The new template is responsive, which is web speak for the fact that it reacts well to different sized screens. And we’ve been designing post content for the last year or so with this migration in mind – for instance, all the figures are sized no larger than a smaller iPhone screen, so that in landscape mode you can easily view the content of the config labs and newly written sample questions.
So that’s the scoop. Look around, tell me what you think, list posts that need a look that the team didn’t catch yet, and thanks for reading!
